Increasing the duration of time drops are on the ground?

I have somewhat of a half second loot lag per item, and as a kiting archer, it sucks when a group of mobs die and I can't loot everything before drops all disappear >_<
Is there any way that the timer before drops disappear off the ground be increased? I've missed several key things I've been hunting for with the way it is now.
